For the most part, Debbie speaks for me as well.  The only exception might 
be that in off list discussions, I have not observed people being too much 
different, but this might be flavored by differences in how we filter what 
people write.  I try hard not to read between the lines more than I should 
and make premature judgments.  I try to see people in another way that I 
cannot get into particulars about without getting into hot water with some 
people on this forum.

I think in Debbie's particular case, serious reductionistic thinking posed 
an additional problem for her.  I'm sure that she thinks she is fine with 
reductionistic inquiry, but true reductionism requires skepticism to 
operate, and it digs and digs at words and minutiae.  It is a rather tedious 
process, but very rewarding if carried out to the end.  Few on TruthTalk 
ever stick it out for the entire process so the rewards are minimally 
realized.  It reminds me of the passage, "ye have need of patience, that, 
after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise." 
Different subject and context, but the concept is similar.
