Its just that David addresses you and Perry, then not another word about Perry and nothing but thanks to you and Blaine.  Whatever he is trying to do -  this is a bit humorous

Your complaint of other TTers is somewhat lost in the continuing discussion with Perry and your decision to return the matter to the public arena.   Your reasons for doing so, for my money, do not hold water in spite of being rather well articulated.  You are equally  guilty of the very things you are critical of, IMO.  You are just a little "nicer" about it.

I see no good reason for returning the discussion to the open floor except to press a point in which you think you have strength in CONTRAST to Perry's.   I was actually leaning your way on this one --  until your motivation became obvious (in the return to the open forum).  You lost me on that move.  I do not doubt your sincerity  ----------  but neither do I questioned Perry's.

DAVEH:   Hmmmmmm.......I've got a bit different perspective of DavidM's post, John.  I thought he might be trying to agree with Perry (despite publicly disagreeing with him in regard to this matter) without offending me.

Well, what do we learn here?  That David prefers Dave.  Sorry Perry - I did have to laugh a little
at this one.

In regards to the Perry / Dave exchange, I would like to say that I greatly
appreciate Dave's participation on TruthTalk. I have learned a lot about
Mormonism because of his presence here. I have read dozens of books and
studied numerous aspects of Mormonism because of his posts. I have
appreciated times he has taken to quote LDS writings, and he has even sent
me books to read, including the standard works of Mormonism. Blaine tipped
me off to the history of Mormonism written by Joseph Smith and I purchased
that set and have read much of it. When I consider my knowledge of
Mormonism before interacting with guys like Dave and Blaine and compare it
to what I know now about it, I must say that it has been better than several
years of classes on it at a university somewhere. I enjoy learning for the
sake of learning, so all I can say is thank you Dave and Blaine for your
participation here on TruthTalk.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
