Terry I know you must have had scripture revealed to you by the Holy Spirit; have you never had God's Word quickened to you, like parts of it just 'coming alive' to you and you have understanding that you didn't have before?  No one person other than Jesus has "all truth" but He has sent the Promise and His Spirit is here to teach us - leading us into all truth and conforming us to His image.  jt   On Sat, 11 Jun 2005 15:59:27 -0500 Terry Clifton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: you are saying, John, and I agree with it almost totally.  There are times though, when I read something in God's word and I say to myself, "That does not agree with my experience.  My experience is nothing like that".   A good example would be that "the Holy Spirit will lead me into all truth."  I believe that, but I have yet to experience that.  I must believe that because it is God speaking.  He is smarter than me.  He knows what He is saying.  He never lies, so in spite of my experience, what seems correct in my mind, that I do not have all truth, God's word is still true.  I simply must accept that statement as truth from God, and someday I will understand.
