It's not faulty logic. I am defining my terms. He wants us to be like him
but not be him. What does it mean to be him? Well... to take his place,
like Lucifer did. I am not using any kind of logic to arrive at a
conclusion here. I am defining my terms.

I agree that this is God's desire, that we become like him and one with him
but not be like Satan.

Well, in a sense, he does want us to become a god, if you mean that he wants
us to act like him and represent him. This would be in the sense of what
Jesus said when he quoted the psalm, "ye are gods." The Scriptures teach us
that we will judge the world and judge angels. This, in a sense, is being
like a god to the world. However, let me say right up front, that is very
different from BEING GOD. Don't you see any inkling of a distinction that I
am trying to talk about here? I'm not sure what other terms to use to talk
about this. I see in the spirit what I am trying to say, and these words
seem to be the best I can come up with right now.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
