It's agreed then that we are starting from different premises, so that's really as far as we can get on this. The same conversation has been had before, BTW, with the same result, so, no surprise. At least we're consistent!
 
Careful, though: irrational is not the same as illogical. The insane, for example, are often quite logical. But they start with--um--false premises. Pleasure doing business with you. Good night, and pax back at ya.

The only way in which it might ever be rightly invoked is if we accept the idea that God is irrational and that truth is sometimes irrational.  I cannot accept this premise so I do not believe it can ever be rightly invoked.
