When are you going to get to MY questions about the
eternal sonship thing JD?
The scriptures teach that those who are called by and
receive teaching from the Father come to Christ
and this is the only way to know the Father (through
Christ). Jesus said the Jews who were trying to kill
him were doing that because they didn't know the
Father. Imagine that. God's ppl didn't know Him.
Calvin has nothing to do with this.

Would you mind answering my questions? You have denied being a Calvanist -- I acknowledge this.I am not trying to tie you to any theology. But I do not see the difference between you in this matter, and my understanding of Calvin on this point. No matter. My question remains unanswered. JD

John Calvin did not say that JD, Jesus did and you are right. I am not a Calvinist.(see John 6:44)On Sat, 25 Jun 2005 08:08:30 -0400 [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:
Judy - you have denied being a Calvanist, in the past. What do you mean to say by this statement:You don't know who the Church consists of because only those called by the Father are able tocome to Jesus and only those who come to Jesus can know the FatherPlease gvie attention to "called" and "are able."JD
