Do you realize how terrible such comments sound to a conservative? Liberals
always attack the authority of the parents over their children in this same
way. They fight to give teenagers the right to abortion without notifying
the parents. They fight for the right of the State to take children away
from families they consider damaging to their children. I hope you are not
on this side of these particular issues.
For good or for bad, my children are under my authority and they will be
subject to all that I am. I will never make apologies for that. It is a
God ordained responsibility. My children ultimately will choose for
themselves what they do with what I teach them. The fruit of my teachings
will be seen best in them, because my wife and my children are my greatest
disciples. If you want to judge the value of my life and teachings, look at
my family. This is how I will best be known and evaluated by those who
misunderstand my teachings.
