I have been encountering sinning Christians all my life, John. Yes, it goes way back, back before there was any Internet. You really should remember that you came to this list because of a post I wrote in private to several people that was made public wherein I confessed to a particular sin. Surely you remember that. You defended me when the assailants rended me for that post. Some of them tried to convince me that I had not really sinned at all. Most of them were upset because the conviction came through a dream. One of them still maligns me from time to time, mischaracterizing me as being a astro projectionist because of that post. When you read the actual post, you found all the uproar against me to be completely unfounded. It was shortly after that when you came on TruthTalk. At that time, you were a person who was not involved with me or knew me in any way. Now that you have come to know me somewhat through email, you have assumed their same position of persecuting me for my spiritual teachings on holiness. If you could somehow remove yourself from the personal conviction you experience in all of this, I think you would find it all unfounded, just as you found them to be unfounded when you had not yet heard my teachings on holiness and spirituality. I'm not above the idea that a believer needs to repent of sin. I'm not above the idea that the possibility for me to sin again might happen in the future if I take my eyes off of the Lord. However, if I keep my eyes on the Lord and trust in him, I am confident that he can keep me in holiness, and that he can motivate me and equip me to love others. I do not expect to sin again. This does not mean that I am sinless. I need the grace of God to work within me continually, empowering me over the temptations that exist within my flesh. My flesh will not lose this sin principle until the resurrection, but the grace of Christ has appeared to deliver me from the slavery of sin. In other words, I believe the Lord that I can have the victory, and you can too. Peace be with you.
