Apparently we have different definitions of "humility" Lance.  Let's leave others out of this, I am talking with you here.  God's definition of humility and a humble and contrite spirit is to say what He says about an issue.  That is to agree with him and to call dirt what He calls it.  Being holy is not getting around with ones head to the ground or living hidden in a monastery somewhere.   God defines humility or a humble and contrite spirit as dying to the old proud flesh and agreeing with Him no matter what the cost which is what Jesus did in the face of religious leaders who did not have the same interpretation even though they sat in the seat of Moses.       On Fri, 22 Jul 2005 08:06:24 -0400 "Lance Muir" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: He (the Lord) is more likely to be attentive should you say that Bill Taylor, John Smithson and David Miller said so.
