Would not this demand that Noah's or Mrs Noah had family ties to these creatures?  Is there some reason to believe such to be the case?   Just asking.

Surely you have learned about recessive genes, have you not?  I suspect one 
or more of Noah's daughter-in-laws may have carried some of the genetic 
material.
