DaveH, if you simply read your Bible you
would know that God never created Satan. He created a wonderful angel named
Lucifer who, like you and I, had the gift of free will to become whatever he
chose. He chose the dark side. So did a man named Joseph Smith. And so have
JSmith’s followers. Some choose the dark side out of willing rebellion
due to being inherently evil. Some choose it out of ignorance and are really
well-meaning people. I believe you fall into the latter category, which is the

would not have become like the Gods referred to in Gen 3:22, knowing the
difference between good and evil. In effect, they would have remained
ignorant. Do not Protestants believe that is why God created Satan?
If not, why do you believe God created Satan, Izzy? Thanks. Now do you think it was a good thing
