I do see your poiont  --  but I still think the question is of prejudice, in this case.   Mybe yes  --  maybe no.

To imagine that there are no qualified black leaders in all of Africa is a bit much,  I think.   None of us know much of anything aobut the whole of Africa.   In the US, there is a host of qualified black leaders  -  clergy, scientists, educators, Senators, Mayors and so on.   As far as the rest of the world, how many blacks call themselves Chinese, or Japanese, or Pakistanians or .................   well, you get the drift.

Percentage wise, there are more drug related crimes committed by whites as by blacks  -  yet half of our prison population is black.  Incredible.

This is an assumption on your part,John.  Anyone can make an observation without  pre judging, and her observation appears to have some basis.  Simply because it concerns a particular race does not make it a matter of prejudice.  Izzy did not say that all black folks are as inept as the New Orleans mayor, or as crooked as Al Sharpton or as likely to be involved in adultery as Jesse Jackson or M.L. King.  She simply noted that they seem to have no capable leaders.  That is hardly hatred or even disrespect, let alone predjudice.

I?m serious.  Name a city or a country that isn?t the pits.  Seriously; I?d really like to know because I can?t think of one and I?m sure there must be. I thoroughly admire Colin Powell and Condy Rice.  But they aren?t mayors or presidents, yet anyway.  (Hopefully, Condy will change all that. Jizzy

For JD, that?s as soon as you have finished being properly indignant, of course.

What an asinine question.   There are any number of blacks who have accomplished much.   Indeed !!  Let's compare Linda Shields life of accomplishments with any number of black Christian leaders.   Put your accomplishments on paper and I will match it with the life accomplishments of 30 black folk.  I went to school in the "south"  and saw, first hand, the prejudice that exists there.    Absolutely disgraceful.

Thank God you don't have to be right to be saved.

Just wondering?can you name one successful city with a black mayor, or one successful country with a black president? I don?t know why, but there just don?t seem to be any.  They all seem to be the worst of the worst.  Surely there must be one? Perhaps Colin Powel would make a good president if he weren?t so liberal? izzy
