There are three ways, possibly four. The most common these days is probably the preacher/evangelist/ missionary.. Second by a narrow margin would be the teacher (Mom, Dad, friend)
Third would be direct revelation, as with Abraham. Fourth would possibly be by observing an example over a period of time.

Brother Terry -I can agree with your answer and add that all four forms mentioned is essentialy preaching (ie. conveying the gospel).The point being is that God chose man to spread the good news and the words must be spoken by us- if not who? Sorry to be so late replying-these virus are getting tougher to deal with. So I will most likely be coming and going.
