Lance when someone quotes scripture verbatim there is no way it could be twisted. Satan is the one who comes with doubt and unbelief ie: "hath God said?"  "You won't surely die" Jesus OTOH boldly quoted scripture verbatim ie: "It is written, it is written, it is written" Have you ever wondered why He wasn't bothered about the human transmission etc???  Truth  took care of the problem anyway ...
