Nothing unusual about a sinner being one who sins
JD. The bible is not a maze or a trick puzzle except
through the eyes of sophisticates and
theologians. God is funny about that. He is inthe habit of
hiding
things from the wise and prudent and revealing them to
the unlearned and babes. You appear to have no
appetite for his Word since you continually reject
it. There are no 'unusual ideas' in what I present below
from Proverbs and the book of John both
are scripture which is God's Word, not mine. jt

Nope. You missed my point -- not even close. Here is the main point: Are you aware that "sinner" and "sin" are used in differing ways in the bibilical account. You did not deal with this issue. If you can't effectively deal with it, then don't -- but don't pretend you did. It doesn't work among those who do not lap up all of your unusual ideas.JD

What you call my comment has everything to do with your comment below JD.A sinner is a person who "sins" - evil and righteousness are on God's terms not yoursWhat I posted below is what His Word has to say on the matter.Since you have publicly rejected His Law I can see why you would reject this kind of counsel. On Fri, 14 Oct 2005 09:44:37 -0400 [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:Go back and read my post, Judy. Your comment has nothing to do with my post.Monologue v dialogue. JD

The problem is that you do not understand righteousness from God's perspective JD.The Jews knew that God did not hear sinners (John 9:31) because His Word said so ......Prov 28:9 "One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination"Prov 28:4 "Those who forsake the law praise the wicked"Prov 28:5 "Evil men do not understand justice"On Fri, 14 Oct 2005 08:30:52 -0400 [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:Are you aware that "sinner" and "sin" are used in differing ways in the bibilical account. Like I said, He can save a sinner but he can't listen to one? We are all sinners. We are probably not talking about the same thing -- or , at least, the bible isn't. Jd
