DAVEH: Perhaps so, Lance. I've probably been a bit haphazard in thinking that the BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM passage might also apply to Christians.

That's Dave's problem.

Lance, as I understand it, one's deeds are not what makes one a Christian. Am I wrong on this? I am not saying that MT was not a believer. I do not know. I am saying that Dave apparently judges her to be so by her works.

Perry

You're still there, Perry. The subject was 'The HEART of the matter.' God looks on the heart. He alone knows the thoughts and intents of us all.

Preach the gospel by all means. When necessary use words. TT is a forum for words. Stories have been told. Some of these are indicative of the heart of the one telling them.

IMO, MT lived the gospel of Christ. For those who say of her 'but she never used the words........' well, God looked through the words she did use all the way to her life/heart.
