I was wondering what evil Todd had done to deserve this judgment? That is what hard times indicate, right?

Subject: [TruthTalk] praise report
Just a praise report to thank the Lord for His protection over my son, Todd, and his wife, Shirley yesterday. I tried to call Shirley on her cell phone yesterday afternoon at the exact moment she was trying to call me on mine. It turned out that she was calling me to tell me that they had been involved in a car accident in which their family minivan was probably totaled. Fortunately they had just dropped off the four children at a friend's house so they could go out for a nice lunch together. They were on the highway going 55 mph when an older man stopped at a stop sign, looked at them but didn't "see" them, and pulled right out in front of them! They broadsided him, as there was no time to stop. Amazingly, the man walked away with just a few scratches, Todd has a bruised hand, Shirley has a bruised knee, and otherwise they are fine. The car can be replaced, but those grandchildren children need their parents!
Shirley said that just before the accident Todd had asked her to read the Bible to them, and she had read one of the psalms out loud. The man who caused the accident said he was on his way to the casino. Shirley told him the only reason they were all alright was "because of Jesus." The man just said, "Yeah." I say Thank You Jesus! Also, I am grateful that my son who loves to go mach one in his jet never drives over 55 on the highway. (Unlike his mom.) izzy
