I do not know much about the man. I have read articles about Zodhiates that speak of him as being somewhat idiosyncratic. A scholar ?? Maybe. A scholar's scholar -- no. I have several lists of scholars, from which I buy my books. He and W.E. Vine are not on any of those lists.
zodhiates is very popular in the conservative Christian Bible Bookstores. There must be a reason for this. Beware !!!!!!! We have a Berean Bookstore here in Fresno - they sell Mounce, Thayer, some good interlinears, ant that's about it. Not much value in them there stores. I did pick up a commentary on Ephesians (exegetical) by Hoehner ---- a real prize.
