Just a note, Kevin.  “Under the law” is where you are if you have broken God’s law.  You are under it’s penalty, or the curse of the law.  If you obey God’s law, either intentionally by reading and obeying or simply by following after the Holy Spirit’s leading, you are not under the law, but rather you establish the law—just as Jesus did, who never violated the law, but fulfilled it.  Those who claimed He violated it were liars. He sometimes violated man’s laws (Talmud), but never God’s law (Torah.)  Also you are “under the law” if you choose to live under the hundreds of rules in the Talmud.  Talmud has a lot of wisdom, but is not necessarily always correct, and certainly is not the same as God’s law; it is man’s elaboration on God’s law.  IMO, izzy

Gal 4:21  Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear
the law?

Like the LDS who desire to be under the law but are powerless to hear it and OBEY it!

BE YE DOERS and NOT HEARERS ONLY DECIEVING YOUR OWN SELVES!
