Surely you also must see the majority of the 'to and fro' involving CPL and Kevin as a giant waste of time?
DAVEH: Sure. IF one expects the end result to be a conversion from one belief paradigm to another, then it does seem to be time wasting, as each of us is pretty well rooted in our respective belief realms. However, I'm not trying to convert them, so for me it doesn't strike me as being time wasted. I have learned a lot from what I've seen in TT. Each poster has added something to my understanding of Protestantism....even those who claim not to be Protestants. That in itself seems to project a message.
As I see it, most TTers seem to be loose canons. I wonder if any (unless they be lurkers or LDS) really feel comfortable in a denominational setting. I've heard several stories of TTers who did not fit into conventional religious organization, and moved on to their own ministries or
at least seemed more content to avoid traditional Christianity. Maybe I'm reading more into it than has been revealed by TTers though.....it's just the way I view it now.
For those TTers who do prefer denominational Christianity, I suspect they tend to drop out after finding TT is not denominational friendly. How do you see it, Lance....are there really any conventional Christians on TT?
cd: Do you view us as Christians Dave? I do not agree with most of the above Dave.

Fair enough Dave. It's the one about the centrality of your 'prophet'. (The house of cards thingy). Surely you also must see the majority of the 'to and fro' involving CPL and Kevin as a giant waste of time?
