So which is it, Kevin..................... the Greek text or the KJV?   You are arguing with greek MSS , not with Bill.   And all the MSS say exactly the same thing in this case.    The problem, here, is that you do not understand how God can view us as perfected when, in fact,  we have a long way to go   --   that both "perfecting" and "sanctifying " are the works of God.   So what do you do?   You make up some reason why you don't have to deal with the issue and continue to function as if you were a teacher of men.   You wasted all that time m aking a big deal of the "textus receptus"  when you had no intention of ever becoming a student of that document.   KJ verse testux respetus??   Kevin goes with KJ , probably because it is the only one of the two he can read  (me too  ,  by the way).   But that is no reason to place the translation above the text.   The fact is you believe the translation is inspired or you would become a student of the greek text.  You have no need for the greek text because of this KJ inspiration thingy.

I have no idea what you are talking about Bill.  However I do understand Hebrews 10:14
and the word "sanctified" in this instance means "set apart" in the same way that an unbelieving
wife is "set apart" in 1 Cor 7:14 which is "set apart in the sense that she is become the object of
focus because of the faith and influence of her husband.  It would be impossible for her to be
sanctified in any other sense because she remains unregenerated and dead in her trespass and
sin.
