Lance, the point is this: if you don't believe in the return of Christ, or
whatever is commonly believed by the church, what DO you believe in? Are you
one of the type of Universalists who believe He already returned within the
first century? I had a very dear beloved friend who believed that, and I
could understand why he thought that way even though I didn't share the same
belief. The point of asking questions is to find out WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

Perry,

The word itself , END, apparently has meaning. You and I will both arrive,
finally, at some sort of ..well...END (it is the death thingy)

Seriously Perry, ESCHATOLOGY as a subject for discussion, IMO. is a waste of

time. I've held a variety of eschatological positions over the decades. The
one I hold at present is 'I don't see any intrinsic value in discussing it.'

Anyone else wish to oblige Perry? I fear that he, like Terry, may actually
believe 'THAT THE END IS NEAR'. Why not thank the Lord for the breath of
life and live the life then, let the END come when He wishes for it to do
so?
