When I was in third grade I told a classmate that I was going to be a cowgirl when I grew up.  She (a bit more precocious than I) replied, “Send me a postcard.”  I haven’t sent that card yet.  Reality got in the way.  iz

so,   when I was a kid,   I thought I might be a cowboy  ......  really.   How 'bout you. 

 

And I really kinda of thought I would get old with my sister hanging around.  

 

And my folks,  and the brother and sister of another father.

 

 

 

Did God save the best for the last?      I think not. 

 

Reality has a way of preparing us for those things that , in our innocence, were furthest from our mind.
