In my run on sentence post this week I identified
the god and the salvation in which Mormons place their trust. The response
confirmed that I was 'on the money'. The recent conversation on the Garden vs
the Cross further elucidated Mormon distinctives. Yet again, the parallel drawn
between Joseph Smith and Moses focuses on the absolute centrality of 'the
prophet' along with 'the addditional revealed writings' received via Joseph
Smith. May I ask of the 'Mormon contingent' on TT the
following:?
Compare the God of Christianity with the god of
Mormonism. (One God, Three Persons; Father, Son, Spirit) and please outline
Salvation as taught in the two traditions.
