The instrument of our death is chosen for us, as well as
the manner in which it is carried out, the timing and the duration of the
execution - all is controlled by Another. There is nothing to be done,
for we must submit to the Unseen Hand and cast ourselves completely upon
Him.

good stuff.   Let me tell you doubters, out there, who resist such as Barth or Torrance.   The words this morning from Debbie and now Terry,  should be considered in no differenct a light than  other theologicans.   We resist this word "theologian" preferring, at times, the wonderful sound of "ignorance."   But the fact of the matter is this:   what Terry has shared and the words from Debbie give God no less an opportunity to work in our lives than the  scriptures themselves or Barth or Torrance.

Anyway, thanks Terry.   We have not yet suffered unto death  --   your point is well taken and our life has its happy ending.
