DAVEH:   Thanx for the reply, John.  I know how that happens.....a lot of stuff gets posted, and questions asked that tend to get overlooked.   Since you did not quite respond to the nature of my post, what you said below doesn't quite answer my question.  But that's OK.  I appreciate you for the consideration of sharing your thoughts.

    FWIW.....I had mentioned the two natures of death:  Physical death, where the spirit separates from the body, and spiritual death where we are separated from God.  Jesus made it possible for us to over came both, by virtue of his atonement and the resurrection.  That's the basis of the LDS perspective of salvation.  I was just wondering if you saw it in a similar way.
