I do not fully agree with this piece, but it brought to my mind the reminder that maturity and maturing result in a reduction in the number of right and wrong choices.
When we speak of the freedom FROM choice, how much of the above has to do with this evolution?

i believe that God created everything Good. evil exists
in the world because we think it does. adam and eve wanted
"to be like gods knowing good and evil". i believe this means
that adam and eve wanted to be able to look at God's good
creation and declare certain parts of it good and other
parts of it evil. i believe that this error continues today.
jesus said we must become like little children. to little
children, their parents are perfect, they can do no wrong.
they trust their parents completely. i believe that if we
were perfect, we would be able to look at God's creation
and see it as perfect with no evil whatsoever. no matter
what happened, we would accept it as good and trust God.
unfortunately, we are not perfect yet, and we tend to
look at creation and still see evil- we still tend to say
"why me, God" when things that we perceive as bad happen.
