God directed me in my signs, so perhaps you should take the matter up with him. I do not believe it is ad hom, but even if it was deemed such, nothing is wrong with that. Personally, I think false stereotypes and bigotry is what makes people view my signs as being ad hominem and offensive. The signs work to expose these false stereotypes and deception. Just today I received an email from a student who said he could see my love for the students at UF and desires to have lunch with me this week.
