Not more than someone claiming that God might not agree with them.If you are going to suggest that God does not agree with a particular believer's stance, you should point out how through Scripture why that is so. Otherwise, it appears that you assume the other person has not prayed and sought God's mind on the matter. If you simply say, "God might not agree with you," the response of, "God directed me in this" simply clarifies that you need to be more specific in how you perceive God to be contrary. Scripture is profitable for reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
