Yeah I looked over the openerp mrp stuff and it did not seem to be very user friendly. It seemed more ad-hoc and slightly disorganized. Although on the other hand all I wrote was a plan and almost no code. There are still some outstanding design decisions that were never resolved. I have't written anything more with respect to that plan other than those prototypes of the model.
