Hi, Here is a commit on OpenERP [1] that adds comment [2] on some object of the database based on the Model values (It could be only done for PostgreSQL backend). For now, the only use I see is to help developpers that access directly to the database for per example writing a BI [3]. (Except if you have field names that don't have meaning :-))
