hi, i were investigating the possibility to have scientific plots in the gtk client. I found the gtkextra [1] package and python bindings [2], which seems quite outdated (after 4 years a new release in 2010). Maybe its mature enough.
Another Project is matplotlib [3] which seems more active, is pure python, and has a lot of examples. Thats my favourite.
