Oh, sorry. Not that's not the case.
Whenever I did a party.party.create(..) an empty address record was
attached to this party with all fields set to False, except the 'party'
field and the 'active' field. So the new address was linked, but didn't
contain meaningful data.
Passing the {'addresses': False} keyword parameter solved it for me.
