yep - I know the issue with the extensions - a field which will be
automaticly filled with the name of the uploaded file is one
solution.
If people is uploading from linux without extension, someone has to
write or find a huge mime-type2extension map ;)

i will take a look on how to contribute - this snippet was only a
short
idea ...
