Yes I thought editing the cost worked but it was not.
I have uploaded a fixed version on codereview.

If you want to manage shipping fee manually, you just have to not install the
module.

The cost of the shipment will be generated by the supplier invoice. So in this
module, it has nothing to do the financial cost of the shipments.

This is managed by the usage of list price and not the cost price of the
product carrier.

I think it is the job of the custom module that add the carrier computation or
perhaps it is possible to have generic module for that. By any way, it is out
of the scope of this module.
