Just a first comment, I know, it is work in progress: The comparison of the existing and your test website gives me the impression of even more black (the footer now being displayed also in black) and the secondary color is not very prominent. I personally would prefer a lighter design, where black shouldn't be the all-dominant color. JFTR: At CeBIT 2009 and OpeExpo2010 we (virtual-things and MBSolutions) used a different approach, that seemed more attractive (and a little less frightening than pure black/white ;) to us [1]. So for me: If black and white as primary combination is set, let speak the secondary color!
