I'm working in the specification of a website like what you are talking. https://github.com/gbarba/multierp-apps I was waiting to do more clear the specification to share with community, to get your feedback. One of my "inspirations" was 'Django Package' website, but I had not investigated what system it use. Now, I'm sure I will base the project in 'opencomparison' and, if you (community) are interested, extend it with 'compatibility reports', 'multibranch of sources' and 'buildout configuration generator'.
