I changed my mind about this option. So I activated the preferuncompressed option on the server because the name of the option is not really correct, the data transfered are still compressed. For futher explaination see http://selenic.com/pipermail/mercurial/2011-November/040639.html I don't think it will hurt anyone seen the size of our repositories.
