Yes, but the goods accounting practices requires that accounts
transactions are explicits, the "description" field is filled many times
for the users in moves (no related to invoices), like Jordi says,
payroll, transfers between bank accounts, payment of tax to goverment,
petty cash, donations, etc, so the custom Journal view is good option
for moves lines but it is not works with moves.
So even the description field could be filled by standard models with
description field of origin model (with a patch), I think that this
feature is usefull, so in this moment I am testing in a customer.
Yes, but the description is often added when a move is manually
added, for example when wage/salary moves are added.
I agree to add "description" field to move view tree xml, it will
help to account staff.
You can also use a custom journal view.
