Right now we're still not having this problem but we most probably will in the future. We'll see what we do by then but most probably we'll keep improving the tools I mentioned to make our lives easier. Note that some of the problems that arise are not a matter of the revision system you choose but because of the large number of repositories to manage. If you develop a new feature in a new branch (either mercurial or git), in both cases you'll need to easily switch branch on all repositories.
