Did you also look in /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages
or .../site-packages in easy_install.path?

BTW: If you want an all-modules installation you can just do
'apt-get install tryton-modules-all'. It will pull in all the rest.

You probably installed mx-egenix with setup-tools parallel to apt. I think you

It is not unmaintained and should work for version 1.6.

But you shouldn't mix installation methods. I just made a cleanup of
http://code.google.com/p/tryton/wiki/InstallationOnDebian. Please have a look
again.
