Actually, this is one of the main reasons we're trying to implement an ERP system: to keep records of these in-flows and out-flows, even though things might not have an explicit "price" (and, even more so, for the things that *do* have prices!)
Other Free Geek affiliates have used home-brewed software to do this, but when I noticed that Tryton already tracked most of what we needed (finance, inventory, scheduling/timesheets), I lobbied for us to use it, instead (why reinvent the wheel, no?)
