Italian governement want to be sure you pay taxes and want taxes as soon as you can. So for freelancers and some other categories when you emit an invoice (usually a freelancer emits an invoice to a limited company) you must immediately cut 20% of the amount of the invoice. So the limited company give you 20% less money. But, obviously, the limited company must give this sum to governement as a payment in advance for your future taxes. So when you calculate the taxes amount X you pay X-20% of invoices because you have already paid it. -- [email protected] mailing list
