do you really talk about multi-tenant or sharing data ? multi-tenant is not a problem, I do it daily. Sharing data between entities is always complex and sharing data over long distance can be a performance problem. > > In other words, if two cities, San Francisco and Boston want to share > the same Tryton instance, what is possible to be shared? nothing or everything, depending on your choice > > 1. If they have separate databases, then they can run a single process they can run two processes on the same code they can run two processes on two separate copies of the code (my recommendation) > > 2. How about support? If you plan to buy some support from some-one, ask them. It is a contractual issue, not a Tryton issue. > > How about size, does that make a difference? Can two tiny cities share > Tryton in a multi-tenant format? There is no direct relation between size and cost but size do matter of course. What do you call big and what is tiny for you ? If you just think about having hundreds of tryton services centralized in one location, this is what I do in Europe. > > Thanks, > > Alex Glaros > > -- > -- > [email protected] mailing list > > > regards -- Dominique Chabord - SISalp -- -- [email protected] mailing list
