Hello,

I am currently reviewing the aging balance report and I noticed that
the dates used to compute the data are dates in the future. It seemed
wrong to me (I remember having to compute an ageing balance for a
company and the dates were in the past).

So I googled to gather some information and it seems that indeed a
real aged balanced are computed with dates in the past.

I am thinking that this computation (with dates in the past) is the
right one. What does the people more knowledgeable about accounting
present on this list think ?
