I find myself frustrated to the point of just filtering top-posters to /dev/null and therefore categorically dismissing any notion that what they have to offer is insignificant and worthless.
I know I don't like to scan up/down/up/down/up/down - that's just ridiculous! People that top-post are rude, inconsiderate, and often narcissistic to the point of thinking that everyone should enjoy the smell of their stinky feet - they impose top-posts upon others because they are lazy jerks, and because it amuses them to waste other peoples time. I say filter them, and moderate their posts but never bother checking to see if they learned their lesson after several warnings. I've directed many, many people to this link to demonstrate how insulting it is to top-post, and your statement above has been quite effective in informing and convincing folks to conform to *standard* netiquette. Once again Cedric, Thank you very much for your post, and your advocacy of sane communication decorum. -- -- [email protected] mailing list
