> 1) Could you point me to where I can learn how to install trytond (assume
Debian)?

http://code.google.com/p/tryton/wiki/InstallationOnDebian

You need a ssh connection to server to install Tryton. Same as Moodle need
Apache or Mysql.

If you don't have admin user, contact your supplier

2) Is there a way to install without using a Linux console, similar to how
> Moodle does its installs?
>

apache and mysql you can install by console, same as tryton

When create a database & co, you can choose GTK client

> 3) Does anyone here have experience installing the Tryton deamon and

Not.

Note:
Here there is a Python library to communication with Moodle. It's available
connect Tryton to Moodle if you like (install/develop tryton modules, of
course, because it's a library to communication)
