Hello,

since ~1 year I am the maintainer of the Tryton FreeBSD ports. The FreeBSD ports system consists of of Makefiles and other meta data which allows building and installing 3rd party software to FreeBSD. During the build process, the source code of the software is retrieved on-the-fly from configured master sites. For Tryton 2.4 the only configured master site is:

    http://downloads.tryton.org/2.4/

This is ok, but causes trouble if it is offline for some reason. Therefore, most of FreeBSD ports contain multiple configured master sites / mirrors to achieve some redundancy.

Is there any official Tryton mirror site? If not - what do I need to take care fore if I want to run my own?

Thanks & kind regards,
Matthias
