At some point I agree with you for large POS implementation, for SME
with just 1 POS having it directly from the Tryton could be a good
solution.

But I'm wondering if a solution (like OpenERP idea but probably not the
implementation) based on an offline web application (using local storage
etc.) could be a good solution for portability and deployement.
And probably not directly linked to Tryton but with just a module for
sync with Tryton.
