Here, I will answer only for Tryton.

For developper POV, you have to know Python to be able to develop and it
requires a little bit of learning because we use some unusual pattern to
make the application very customizable.
For a user POV, we try to make the user interface as simple as possible
by removing any superfluous options, making simple workflow etc.

Yes Tryton is free. It uses a GPL-3 license.

You are free to do what you want with the software as far as you respect
the license which means globaly that you have to keep it free even if
you sell it to someone else.

As developper, you can start with the training module (which is not yet
updated to 2.8) http://hg.tryton.org/2.6
As user, the simpliest is to use it and ask question here or on IRC.

Otherwise, there are some companies that provide services on Tryton and
some of them provide trainings: http://www.tryton.org/services.html

There are no partnership in Tryton. It is a community project where
everyone brings what he can.

There is at least Openlabs:
